Fernox universal biocide AF-10 is used to minimise the occurrence of bacterial and fungal growths in fully indirect domestic central heating and non-evaporative chilled water systems. 

 

Universal biocide AF-10 should be added in conjunction with a Fernox protector or antifreeze to prevent microbiological contamination. AF-10 is also used to prevent the reoccurrence of jelly like deposits (fungal growths) in feed and expansion cisterns. Gas produced by fermentation within systems may be eliminated by the additional of AF-10.

 

In single feed indirect cylinders e.g. primatic or similar, portable water chemicals must be used.
